Unconventional Fitness Model That Works Wonders For Empaths!

I was a personal trainer at the time so fitness was my life!
After my awakening however I had to completely stop working out...
My body just couldn’t recover.
So, I fell into a deep depression.
When we’re tired… we’re grouchy, discontent, and easily OVERWHELMED with life.
& that’s how I felt… overwhelmed.
There are things I wanted to do, but couldn't... and it was frustrating.
I remember thinking...
“I thought having a spiritual awakening was supposed to be a good thing?"
AND
“When will I feel normal again?"
Normal never returned… and YEARS passed and nothing changed.
I was still exhausted, still overly sensitive, to the point where going in public was not only draining, but also disorienting.
I could feel everyone’s mood.
I felt weighed down by the “vibration” of people, places, and circumstances.
Finally, I grew tired of waiting for the symptoms to pass and took matters into my own hands.
At that time, I ordered the popular fitness DVD series… “The P90X"
I was so excited to try it, but unfortunately it just made matters worse.
Finally, one night I was browsing the internet and stumbled upon an article written by Martin Berkam.
He popularized an unusual eating philosophy called, “intermittent fasting."
Intermittent fasting is more like a feeding schedule, rather than a diet.
The premise is...
By eating all of your food within an 8 hour feeding window… (for example noon - 8pm)… you are able to enter “the fasted state” each day.
This results in a huge drop in body fat… even if you’re lean… you get leaner, and quick.
It gives you more day to day energy… considerably.
& has been proven to extend our life span and result in many other health benefits.
The truth is...
When I read this, I was VERY triggered! LOL
I didn’t like what I was reading.
It literally contradicted pretty much everything I ever learned about nutrition.
I was a certified personal trainer and had taken multiple advanced nutrition courses and always prided myself in being very knowledgable in that area.
This guy’s philosophy just seemed so backwards… and to easy to be real.
BUT… I was desperate.
So, I tried it out for a week.
I also tried out his… what I perceived to be… an extremely minimalistic approach to training as well.
He only recommended you train… a little bit… 2-3 X per week. (more on that later)
So, the first few days I didn’t feel well honestly. I felt depleted big time.
BUT… after about the 3-4 day mark something shifted inside of me.
Prior to that, all morning I was tired, hungry, and obsessing about food.
But, after that 3-4 day mark, I started feeling really great.
My energy SOARED!
My hunger completely disappeared and was replaced by what I would label as… an “intense focus."
I felt super focused… beaming with energy… and also more tapped in spiritually.
There’s a reason why fasting has been used in many forms for spiritual advancement for thousands of years.
I really liked the idea of dipping into the fasted state every day and being able to experience a very noticeable spike in my connection with my higher self.
In fact, little side note...
ALL… and I mean all.. of my YouTube videos in the first 3 years were filmed while in the fasted state.
The truth is, when I started, I was kind of a mess, going through a lot… but in that fasted state, I could put that aside and channel!
The training philosophy was also extremely triggering and seemed very off.
It suggested training with heavy weight… very low repetitions… and not very often.
So, I’d go through these short workouts, not breaking a sweat, 3 times per week…
In conjunction with this new nutrition approach, to my shock, my body completely transformed...
Here’s a quick before and after...
No joke… something else happened that REALLY blew my mind.
You’re gonna love this part.
Not only did I feel like Brad Pitt in the Movie Fight Club lol… but also...
My “over sensitivity” went away.
Suddenly, I had no issue at all going out in public, busy places, and even negative, low vibration people had NO effect on me.
I was still aware of everything...
I could still easily tell how someone was feeling, but it just didn’t get to me physically the way it used to.
I remember saying to myself...
I feel impervious!
It was SOOO empowering and welcomed.
After further research, I finally discovered WHY this way of eating and training is so great for empaths...
It’s because empaths are wired differently than normal people.
Due to the fact that they take in more information than most… (why you “feel” other people’s mood and energy)
All of this input puts our central nervous system into over drive.
Getting a teeny bit technical here...
We all have 2 branches of our “autonomic nervous system."
The autonomic nervous system is the part of your body that runs everything on autopilot like your heart beat, digestive system, etc.
Branch #1 - The Sympathetic Branch - this branch is activated when we feel stressed or threatened.
It spikes our cortisol through the roof (not good)… so that we can “defend” ourselves against the perceived threat.
This of course had a place when we lived in the wild, in tribes, and hunted for food and such.
NOW… unfortunately… and this is really true for emapaths…
This branch gets triggered all the time!
Every time you feel someone’s negative vibrations… and feel uncomfortable because of it… you activate your “fight or flight response."
This over stimulation of this branch is DRAINING to your body, mind, and spirit.
The good news is...
There’s another branch...
The Parasympathetic Branch which is responsible for healing and rejuvenation.
So when you do things like meditate, yoga, long walks, etc… you “activate” that other branch, throwing your body into recuperation mode.
The reason why Martin’s training style works so well is because it strengthens your nervous system, but doesn’t overload it like most popular fitness methods.
DOn’t get me wrong...
I am not bashing anything like cross fit, martial arts, body building, HIIT, circuit training, or anything else.
They are all great!
Just usually not for empaths...
Empaths already have enough “stimulation."
For empaths, this minimalistic approach is PERFECT.
Remember.. and I’d always say this to my clients...
It's not what you DO… in the gym that matters… it’s how well your body responds.
This style, aside from being super convenient! - happens to offer the perfect balance.
And the result is… empaths can use this to start increasing their strength, tone, and fitness.
This results in MORE energy, feeling lighter on your feet… feeling good about your body… and LESS empath problems like picking up other people’s energy.

I looked great, felt great, got over my awakening symptoms, and basically got my life back.
